Carl Tinnerholm '50
Gift Planning — When you invest in Perkiomen's
future, you preserve the traditions you created
Carl was part of a team then, and he
says he is still part of the team. "Somebody helped create
the Perkiomen I knew, and I hope we can help preserve and
promote Perkiomen for students today and tomorrow," Carl
says. In addition to his volunteer service to the school,
Carl Tinnerholm is a benefactor. "I get great satisfaction
in knowing what good my modest gifts do," he adds, "which
is to help ensure the continuing tradition of an excellent
education through a supportive educational experience."

Remembering Seth Arden Bardwell
'01
Fran Light wants Seth's name remembered
by the place he loved: Perkiomen School. To this end she
has established a Charitable
Remainder Unitrust, with Perkiomen School as a beneficiary,
and she has included Perkiomen School in her will. During
her lifetime the trust will pay her a steady income. Later,
the proceeds from both the trust and her bequest will
be used to establish and endow the Seth Arden Bardwell
'01 Scholarship Fund. The proceeds from this endowment
will forever be used to fund Bardwell Scholars at Perkiomen.

Think Of Perkiomen In Your Financial Planning
Every time I speak with alumni, they
recall their Perkiomen experiences, and every single time
they acknowledge the importance of that period in their
lives. I, too, have that same feeling and that is why I
made a planned gift to Perkiomen. Planned
giving is a wonderful way of ensuring the future of
Perkiomen School, and it is so easy to set up.

Edward L. '17 and Morae Mesnier
Bequeathed estate of nearly $1 million to Perkiomen
School
Perkiomen School has been named the residual
beneficiary of the estate of Edward L. and Morae
Mesnier. The proceeds are estimated to exceed $800,000.00
and may reach over $1 million.
Edward L. Mesnier of Brielle, New Jersey,
was a 1917 graduate of Perkiomen School. He died on November
11, 1985. His widow, Morae, died December 2, 1995. Edward
Mesnier came to Perkiomen from New York City and was here
two years. He was an active Philomathean, and he served
on the Perkiomenite staff. Described in his 1917 Griffin
as "no slouch," Ed played baseball both years. His classmates
labeled him "the star of the class."
